  6.      If you are reading this message then you have downloaded the ColorGenie 2.0 demo.  You now have in your possession a fully runnning demo version of the ColorGenie XObject, an example movie, some PICT files to use in the 'Pictures' section of the example movie, an order form, and this file.

  9. WHAT DO I DO NEXT?

  11.   Simply open and play the demo movie to explore and see some of the effects that we've done with ColorGenie.  The movie is unprotected, so you are encouraged to poke around and examine and change the scripts, etc.

  14. WHAT'S THE FUNKY CRAP ON MY SCREEN?

  16.   The ColorGenie demo intentionally blits garbage to the screen as a part of its copy protection implementation.  You may or may not notice this as you use the example movie, but if you attempt to use the demo XObject in any other movie you will most certainly notice!  The 'real' version of ColorGenie does not do this.

  19. IS COLORGENIE AVAILABLE FOR WINDOWS?

  21.   Yes, ColorGenie 2.0 is available for Windows.  We do not yet have a Windows demo of ColorGenie, but one will be out sometime in May '95.

  24. IS THERE ANY DOCUMENTATION FOR COLORGENIE?

  26.   If you purchase ColorGenie you will receive the full documentation for ColorGenie, complete with a discussion of XObject usage, different ColorGenie techniques, troubleshooting tips, etc.  In the meantime, type 'colorgen(mDescribe)' into Director's message window for a full listing of all the different ColorGenie methods.  (You may have to start the example movie first, to ensure that the object is opened.)
